The Council discussed the receipt of a social prescribing grant from the United Way of BC. The Council directed staff to conduct a review of the Council Remuneration and Expenses Policy. Additionally, the Council adopted an amendment to the Sewerage and Drainage Regulation Bylaw and received an update regarding the Metro Vancouver Organic Waste contract. The meeting concluded with reports from the Mayor and Councillors, and a public question and comment session.

The committee held a meeting to review a development application for 1552 Esquimalt Avenue, which included presentations from staff and the applicant regarding rental tenure, floor area ratio, and building height. Additionally, the committee addressed the future exclusion of the public for discussions concerning the provision of a municipal service as per the Community Charter.
