The Town Council reviewed and approved the repeal and reinstatement of Town Code § 10.11.260 (Airpark Mixed Use Zone) and the amendment of Town Code § 10.16 (Special Use Regulations), adding additional special uses. It also addressed the repeal and reinstatement of Title 10.11.275, concerning the Airpark Overlay Zone, to align with current state and federal standards, ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of residents, businesses, and airport users.

The Fairfield General Plan prioritizes the protection of the town's rural character, supports intentional growth, and maintains local control over land use. It focuses on low-density development, minimal municipal infrastructure, and strict separation between land use types. The plan aims to concentrate future development in specific areas like the Tech Overlay and Allen's Ranch Road corridor, while preserving agricultural sustainability through local food distribution programs and promoting a sustainable transportation system.
