The commission discussed various infrastructure projects, including road construction updates for 12th Street, 16th Street, and others, along with status reports on right-of-way acquisitions and utility permits. Payments were approved for ongoing road projects involving Bronco Brothers and Schwarz Construction. Additionally, the commission approved a sponsorship for the North Dakota Public Information Officers conference and addressed a city request regarding the regulation of Jake brakes.

The Commission formally adopted the five-year multi-hazard mitigation plan. Engineers provided updates on several ongoing road construction projects, noting various progress delays, easement issues, and budget considerations. The Commission approved pay estimates for road projects, including work on 3T Avenue, 10th Street, and 103rd Avenue. Additionally, the Commission discussed and approved cost-sharing for street paving and parking lot improvements in Killdeer. Further business included approval of a gaming site authorization for the Killdeer Saddle Club and a second reading of an inclement weather policy.

The Board discussed and approved a Conditional Use Permit for a 76.8-acre gravel pit project intended for County road improvements, subject to specific conditions regarding site setbacks, post-project cleanup, compliance, and submission of an archeological study. Additionally, the Board established a future meeting date for a Wind Energy Facility Ordinance update.

The meeting agenda includes a financial report for the period ending March 31st, 2026, discussions on old business regarding a current application for the Shasta program, and general new business items.

The board reviewed and approved the financial report and authorized payments for taxiway design services to Bolton & Menk as well as a purchase of AvGas from Benz Oil.
