The resolution focuses on approving the sale of real property commonly known as 1819 South 12th Avenue pursuant to the ANLAP program of the Village of Maywood. It involves the sale of a substandard vacant lot to the adjacent neighbor, Mr. Murillo and Ms. Rodriquez, owners of 1821 South 12th Avenue, for $500.00, subject to specific conditions and covenants outlined in Chapter 155 of the Maywood Village Code. These conditions include maintaining the property, consolidating it with the adjacent parcel, and responsibility for all delinquent property taxes and debts owed to the Village.

The resolution approves and authorizes the execution of an independent contractor agreement with Raymil Consulting Services LLC for security services for the 2022 Maywood Fest. The agreement entails the vendor providing security services at the 2022 Maywood Fest, which is scheduled to take place from September 9 to 11, 2022, at Veterans Park in Maywood, Illinois. The Village President and Village Clerk are authorized to execute and deliver the final version of the agreement, with any non-substantive and non-financial modifications approved by the Village Attorney. The resolution also authorizes the payment of $9,512.00 to the Vendor for the performance of the security services.
