The council meeting included correspondence review, public petitions, mayoral and administrative reports, and reports from standing committees. Legislation addressed amendments to planning and zoning codes, a group health plan renewal, easements for storm sewer installation, vacation leave accumulation for an employee, the purchase of a cargo van for IT, wood chip fees, asphalt and bituminous cold mix purchases, and the purchase of a police vehicle. A proposed charter amendment to renew a tax levy for police and fire department funding was also introduced.
