The meeting featured two public hearings under New Business concerning preliminary plat requests. The first hearing addressed Case No. SDP 26.01, Lucas Hill at the Waters, involving the proposed subdivision of approximately 20 acres into 74 residential lots. The second hearing concerned Case No. SDP 26.04, Abbington at Pike Road Plat No. 6, which proposes subdividing 10.17 acres into 46 residential lots. Old Business was noted as having no items, and Other Business included a discussion regarding the Cottonwood Golf Club Par 3 Course. Reports were provided by the Town Council and the Planning Director.

Reports were presented by the Town Council and the Planning Director.

The Pike Road Town Council will hold a Public Hearing to consider a Conditional Use request to develop a new telecommunications tower on property located on the north side of Vaughn Road.

The meeting included discussions and decisions on several zoning and plat requests. A rezoning request for Rosehill Plantation Subdivision was approved, changing it from Agricultural to R-30 Residential. Another rezoning request for Boykin Farms was also approved, changing it from Agricultural to R-10 Residential. Additionally, the preliminary plat for Boykin Farms, Plat No. 1, was approved with certain considerations for buffering and traffic flow. A conditional use request for Pet Palace Hotels was approved, and a minor plat for Trott, LLC, Plat No. 1, was also approved. The site plan for Merry Corners was approved with discussions around landscaping and traffic management.

The meeting addressed several agenda items, including a rezoning request for the McClurkin/McLemore property, which involved discussions on density reduction, open space reservation, and traffic impact. Another site plan request was reviewed for the Millie Creek Shopping Center. Furthermore, there were public hearings for rezoning requests concerning the Peacock Property, the McFadden Property, Cardinal Crossing, and Meriwether Court. Lastly, minor plat requests for Bill Bishop Plat No. 1 and Meadowbrook Plat No. 1B were reviewed.
