The City Council meeting included discussions and actions on various financial and infrastructural matters. The council approved general and special fund expenditures, as well as water and sewer fund expenditures. They also approved minutes from a Committee of the Whole meeting. Resolutions were passed to accept public improvements in the Southtown subdivision and to authorize grant agreements with Illinois DCEO for hydraulic gate replacements and concrete infrastructure repairs at fire stations 1 and 2. Additionally, the council approved a proposal for Helm Electric to furnish an Allen Bradley Power Flux VFD for well number 10 and accepted a grant from KMED's Powering the Holidays program to assist with expenses for Hometown Christmas 2025. The meeting concluded with discussions about an upcoming legislative luncheon.

The Bellevier City Council Committee of the Whole meeting included a presentation of awards from the Alliance Against Intoxicated Motorists, recognizing officers for their efforts in removing impaired drivers from the roadway. The council discussed building planning and zoning updates, including home repairs related to a storm in August, special use approvals, subdivision replats, site plan reviews, and downtown improvements. Public works updates included an IEPA grant for pond construction, a shovel-ready grant, and a tree planting grant. The council also discussed and approved a certificate of satisfactory completion for the Southtown subdivision, a VFD replacement at well number 10, a DCO grant for hydraulic gates replacement at the wastewater treatment plant, and a DCO grant for fire station concrete renovation projects. Additionally, the committee discussed ComEd's powering the holidays program.

The City Council meeting included a recognition of fire department personnel for their years of service. The Police Department provided an update, including information on staffing changes, attendance at the International Association of Chiefs of Police Conference, and Deputy Chief Bird's acceptance to the FBI National Academy. The council discussed and approved a grant for the purchase of Axon Taser 10 energy weapon packages and a sustained traffic enforcement program grant from the Illinois Department of Transportation. The Fire Department reported on recent calls for service, repairs to the station apron, and maintenance issues with Ladder 150.

The Belvier City Council held a regular meeting that included a roll call and the Pledge of Allegiance. The council also discussed and authorized an intergovernmental agreement for participation in the Illinois Public Works Mutual Aid Network.
