Additionally, the Commission determined the 2027 spring quarterly meeting date and heard reports from various partners including the University of Alaska, the Alaska Student Loan Corporation, and the Alaska Workforce Investment Board.

The committee reviewed the annual Identity Theft Prevention Program, assessing detection and response methods, employee training, and third-party service provider oversight. There were no material changes to the program, and no reports of identity theft were received. Additionally, the committee received updates on federal program reviews regarding the Federal Family Education Loan Program, specifically the results of guarantor and Department of Education compliance reviews conducted on third-party servicers.
