The Board reviewed a proposed amendment to the Township's subdivision and land development code regarding non-residential park and recreation fees. Resolutions were adopted to amend the Township's official sewage facilities plan, as well as to amend and restate the Non-Uniform and Firefighters' Pension Plans. Investment policy statements for police, fire, and non-uniform pension plans were approved. Additionally, the Board authorized construction management services for municipal campus renovations, engineering and design services for a shared-use trail project, a capacity rights agreement for a property on South Collegeville Road, and the advertisement of bids for a new municipal campus driveway.

The Board of Supervisors addressed several key items, including the approval of a bill list and the adoption of Resolution 2016-57 to amend the terms of a $4.5 million interfund loan for the police administration building. The board adopted resolutions regarding the 2017 Final Budget, which included tax policy changes and appropriations for senior management salaries. Further actions included approving a restrictive covenant for an in-law suite, authorizing a grant application for the Green Region Open Space Program, and approving a land development application for a waste services building. The Board also moved to authorize the advertisement of ordinances concerning the recovery of costs for fire department services and the regulation of wireless communication facilities, while receiving an update on demolition and driveway construction at 1334 Black Rock Road.

The Planning Commission reviewed Zoning Hearing Board Application #16-04 regarding a home addition and ultimately decided to take no action, referring it to the Zoning Hearing Board. Additionally, the commission discussed the Ridgewood Plan, specifically focusing on road width requirements, parking layouts, fire access needs, and proposed community amenities. The applicants were requested to provide a comparison of the Ridgewood Phase 2 development to other townhouse communities and to secure updated input from the Fire Marshal for further consideration at the next meeting.

The Board of Supervisors meeting addressed several key agenda items, including the authorization of a lease purchase for new self-contained breathing apparatus for the fire department and the approval of a grant application for the Willowbrook Lane sanitary sewer project. The Board discussed the process for assessing local ambulance service providers and received a presentation on recruitment strategies, including a Citizens Fire Academy. Additionally, the Board authorized engagement letters for financial investment advisory services and architectural work for the municipal campus, ratified easements for the South Mennonite Road Trail, and approved base paving for the same project. The meeting concluded with the scheduling of the annual road tour and an announcement regarding the upcoming Community Day.

The commission reviewed a Zoning Hearing Board application regarding property improvements and recommended it be forwarded with no action. Additionally, the commission evaluated and ultimately recommended approval for two preliminary land development and subdivision plans for the Patient First project at 1425 S Collegeville Road, subject to various conditions including addressing technical deficiencies, incorporating waiver requests, and coordinating on infrastructure improvements such as trails and road access.
