The committee discussed promotional efforts for the Historical Society and Museum, revisions to the Historic Preservation Committee ordinance, and the potential for a historic bridges report. Involvement in the 250th-anniversary parade, progress on the Servis-Quick service restoration, and new content for the committee's webpage were also addressed. The committee addressed several ordinances, including capital improvements for North Hill Road and the municipal building, as well as adjustments to clean-up day fees and the reorganization of the agricultural advisory committee. Resolutions were passed regarding raffle licenses, the release of maintenance guarantees, and the return of unused escrow funds. The committee also authorized the 2026 municipal budget for introduction, awarded a contract for roadway improvements on Mountain Road, and authorized a procurement contract for tennis court improvements through the Bergen County Cooperative Pricing System.

The Board conducted its reorganization, which included the nomination and election of a Chair, Vice Chair, and Secretary. Subcommittee appointments were made, and the 2026 meeting schedule was approved. The Board also approved professional service contracts for legal services, a soil test witness, and a hydrogeologist. Additionally, the Board reviewed and conditionally approved a septic system alteration application for a property in the Sourland Mountains, involving several ordinance waivers. The meeting also included reports on food license renewals and a review of various public health correspondence and advisories from state and county agencies.

The meeting agenda included monthly reporting on recycling initiatives such as Trex, TerraCycle, and Styrofoam.
