The board meeting included a presentation of an award for Excellence in Equity to the Assessor. The board discussed the potential donation of the Pleasant Valley Community Club/Hall, highway department updates, and the establishment of an official Amazon account for the town. They reviewed letters from Ms. Rippy and the NYC DEP, and discussed insurance coverage, smart growth funding, and potential solutions to parking issues. The board also considered a letter of support for the Connect NY Broadband program. A resolution was passed for Justice Court Funding. The board discussed water district matters, including the purchase of an air filter and contract renewal with Delaware Operations. Sewer district discussions covered noise complaints, the proposed budget, construction progress, and concerns regarding sewer and water rates.

The meeting included a motion to accept Vacri Construction Corporation as the lowest responsible bidder for Contract TA1-G-12 General Construction. The Highway Department will transport scrap metal to Oneonta for the WWTP, with the WWTP covering the transportation costs.

The meeting included the appointment of Martin A. Donnelly as Chairman of the Board and Martin Liddle as Deputy Supervisor. Appointments were made for the Planning Board, Zoning Board of Appeals, Town Attorney, Building Inspector/Code Enforcement Officer/Fire Inspector, Benefits Administrator/Records Management Officer, Deputy Highway Superintendent, Emergency Management Officer, Court Clerk, and Deputy Town Clerk. The board discussed monthly meeting schedules for the Town Board, Planning Board, and Zoning Board of Appeals, as well as designated depositories of funds and authorized advance payment of vouchers. Policies, including procurement, investment, standards for officers and employees, drug and alcohol testing, highway, and workplace violence protection, were confirmed. The annual accounting date was set, the official newspaper was designated, and various committees were formed. The board also discussed the policy regarding privilege of the floor and decided to maintain the existing policy.

The meeting was convened to open sealed bids. All bids were opened and reviewed for required materials, except for one bid that did not meet the size requirements. A motion was made and carried to authorize the Highway Superintendent to post a Notice of Temporary Road Closure on Wolf Hollow Road and Mud Lake Road for vehicles exceeding four tons on any one axle.

The budget workshop included discussions on general revenues and expenses, as well as highway revenues and expenses. Topics included property taxes, interest generation, building permits, mortgage tax, appropriated fund balance, councilman and supervisor raises, justice salaries, benefits administrator salary, bookkeeper contractual, tax collector position, assessor's salary, reval project admin, town clerk duties, attorney expenses, records management officer, building personal services, town hall expenses, shared vehicles, municipal dues, school crossing guard, dog control officer, registrar of vital statistics, highway superintendent salary, pool employees, historian, code enforcement officer, transfer station attendant, state retirement, health insurance, highway garage principal and interest, army surplus accounts, highway employee salaries, general repairs, bridge expense, machinery expense, brush and weeds expense, snow removal expense, and the highway department fund balance.
