The Work Session Meeting involved the approval of several resolutions via the Consent Agenda. These resolutions authorized Memoranda of Understanding with The International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local 676 for Foremen, the award of a contract to Atlantic Tactical for the purchase of Firearms and Equipment for the Police Department, and the cancellation of taxes for two Totally Disabled Veterans. Additionally, the committee reviewed and approved Fire Commissioners' Compensation. The body also approved the bill list and conducted an Executive Session to discuss Attorney-Client matters related to Contract Negotiations.

The meeting included the swearing-in ceremony for two police officers. Liaison reports were provided regarding public safety, covering incident statistics, car theft prevention, and community policing, as well as health and senior services, highlighting meal programs and upcoming wellness events. The Mayor provided updates on economic development, including new business interest in the Route 130 corridor, and parks and recreation, detailing the construction of an ADA-compliant playground and plans for a fitness court and summer events. An ordinance was introduced to vacate a portion of Union Landing Road. Additionally, the committee approved resolutions authorizing the appointment of sewage authority board members, an extension of a sewer line, the appointment of community emergency response team members, and the cancellation of taxes for a totally disabled veteran. A raffle permit was also approved.

The reorganization meeting involved the administration of the Oath of Office to the newly elected Committee Member. Key actions included the nomination and election of Mayor Horner and Deputy Mayor Segrest, followed by the administration of their respective Oaths of Office. Committee Liaisons for 2026 were announced across various departments. The Committee approved Resolution 2026 -- 1 regarding the appointment of the Township Solicitor. A comprehensive Consent Agenda was approved, covering resolutions related to the 2026 Cash Management Plan, investment parameters for excess funds, designation of official banks, authorization for interim voucher approval, interest rates on delinquent taxes, appointments for Municipal Prosecutor, Public Defender, Animal Control Services, Affirmative Action Officer, Risk Management Consultant, Bond Counsel, Township Planner, Auditor, Engineer, Special Counsel, Architect, Housing Liaison, Affordable Housing Agent, and several committee appointments including the Planning Board Class III Member and Zoning Board of Adjustment members. Public comment focused on township communication methods and recognition of staff efforts. Mayor Horner also welcomed the new Committee Member and emphasized unity for 2026.
