The Board set the date for the Ratepayers Appreciation Night & Banquet as June 12, 2026, pending the completion of the Lac Cardinal Hall renovation, and directed the Manager of Agricultural Services to take action to control weeds on CN right-of-way in 2026. Additionally, there were updates on land use/planning/subdivisions, administrative reports, and committee reports.

The meeting included discussions and decisions on various topics such as the Agricultural Service Board budget for 2026, exploring a regional veterinary bursary, setting the VSI cap, the closure of NWP Fairview Campus and advocacy, the 2026 Shelterbelt Program, and the Ratepayers Appreciation Night 2026. The board also discussed reintroducing the Northern Alberta Farm Family Awards, a resolution for a Conservation Easement of Deeded Agricultural Land, the possibility of a solar array power source, and fire guard practices on road allowances.
