The Board of Education meeting focused on a consent agenda including technical policy changes regarding non-discrimination, special education, and food allergy management, as well as personnel changes and contract modifications for assistant superintendents. Key recognition segments honored students for their accomplishments in video production, including winning multiple awards and creating promotional content for the school district. Additionally, students were recognized for their leadership in a national safe driving conference and for collaborating with the town's Economic Development Commission on promotional materials. The board also began the process of recognizing retiring staff members who have served the district for many years.
