It is guided by five principles: Equity, Modernization, Preservation, Resilience, and Experience, and aims to achieve goals such as enhancing safety and security, promoting environmental stewardship, delivering a quality transportation system, serving communities, and supporting the economy. Through over 75 identified strategies and objectives, the plan seeks to foster a successful, interconnected multimodal system, ensure continued state and federal funding, and contribute to Governor Moore's vision for a bolder, brighter future for Maryland.
