The meeting was convened to open sealed bids for the Antioch Road 2025 LMIG Supplement Project, which involves repaving Antioch Road from Highway 87 to Ruth Church Road. The board also discussed the city's annexation of islands in Bleckley County, appointments to the Board of Tax Assessors, the awarding of the 2025 LMIG Supplement bid to the Scruggs Company for repaving Antioch Road, and the purchase of property behind the courthouse. The meeting focused on the purchase and installation of equipment for five new vehicles for the Sheriff's Office, financed by State Bank. The county is required to pay $75,000 upfront. The vehicles are expected to be on the road in 8-10 weeks.

The meeting included discussions on signing the Heart of Altamaha Regional Commission Area Agency on Aging Amendment, the City annexing land lots off Mac Thompson Road owned by Casey Paulk, and repairs to Porter Road and Rebie Road due to recent storms. The Bleckley County Millage Rate was set at 12.597.
