The agenda for the meeting consists of a call to order, an executive session dedicated to personnel matters, and adjournment.

The committee reviewed the Spring Festival report and established its officer positions. Key discussion topics included fundraising strategies such as hosting raffles and creating promotional postcards, as well as addressing budget goals for 2026 and 2027. Plans were discussed regarding the secure storage of committee archives at the Allen Clinic and the potential hiring of an operations overseer. Additionally, the committee addressed various historical preservation projects, including the relocation of the Corn Crib, the preservation of architectural elements at Larry's Garage, and future presence at the Hoschton Art and Farmers Market.

The council received presentations regarding the 2025 audit and a master transportation plan. Key actions included reviewing resolutions for the Barrow County Water Supply Connection contract, a GEFA loan agreement, and updates to building permit and planning and zoning fee schedules. Several text amendments were discussed concerning residential driveways, lighting restrictions for signs, parking prohibitions, and application requirements for signs. Furthermore, the council reviewed authorization to participate in an amicus brief, recommendations for appointments to the Planning and Zoning committee, and approval of engineering services for an ARC grant related to the water connection project. The meeting also included a presentation of scholarship program awards.

The board discussed the status of a property at 29 Broad Street, reviewed applications for an open board seat, and provided an update on the installation of a metal archway at The Back Porch. The board reviewed quotes for the Hoschton Beautification Project and selected Georgia Professional Landscape Group for the contract. Updates were also provided regarding the Back to School Bash and the success of the Farmers and Art Market, along with strategies to increase community participation.

The City Council conducted a public hearing to address three text amendments. The items discussed included amendments to the Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance regarding residential driveway requirements, as well as two amendments to the Signs and Advertising Devices ordinance involving lighting restrictions and application requirements. Council members expressed specific feedback regarding the driveway length requirements.
