The board also heard educational highlights from Compass Academy regarding their sponsored student fundraiser, where students managed budgeting and planning to adopt five children. Action items included the approval of a policy revision concerning home instruction (Policy LD) and the award of a contract for network equipment using federal funding. The board also reviewed the draft 177-day instructional calendar for the next year, noting changes to early dismissal days.
