The City Council approved spending for a meter reading system upgrade and repairs to vandalized lights. An update on unlicensed vehicles was provided by the Umatilla County Code Enforcement Officer. The council voted to loan former City Recorder Gilberta Lieuallen's historical research materials to the Umatilla County Historical Society. The city also took possession of a new public works vehicle.

The council meeting included the passing of the Consent Agenda and a review of updated library policies. A decision was made to donate the Gilberta Lieuallen papers and research to the Umatilla County Historical Society and Museum. The council will be studying a water rate increase, with no timetable set for implementation. The increase is needed to cover increased costs and fund future projects.
