The agenda includes a superintendent's consent agenda to hire substitute teachers, adopt the 2026-2027 school calendar, approve updates to the HS Student Handbook, hire a KTC Law Enforcement Instructor, and approve Massage Therapy as a new program at KTC. Also on the agenda are the approval of minutes from the regular meeting on October 9, 2025, and a treasurer's consent agenda covering monthly financial reports, amended official certificates of estimated resources, appropriation modifications, transfer, advance paybacks, and donations. A special item addresses the board members' terms of office, followed by discussion items.

The agenda includes approving volunteer chaperones for JROTC field trips, hiring part-time student facility operations custodians and substitute custodians, and approving dock pay for a custodian. It also covers a supplemental contract for an elective, adopting a board policy on discrimination complaint procedures, and an out-of-state professional visitation proposal for a conference. Additional items include hiring KTC instructors for HVACR, Public Safety, Cosmetology, and Nail Technician programs, approving the KTC Advanced Nail Technician program, and reviewing KTC calendars. The meeting addressed the hiring of Annabelle Daniels and Bethany Priest as Substitute Facility Operations Custodians for the 2025-2026 school year, effective September 12, 2025, through June 30, 2026, pending completion of all requirements for Career Center employment.

The agenda includes resolutions for advertising and receiving bids for school buses and/or 9 passenger vans through META Solutions, and approving a Memorandum of Agreement for CDL(s) and bus driving training stipends with the Knox County Career Center Staff Association. Also on the agenda is the approval of a Memorandum of Understanding with the Knox County Career Center Staff Association for a full-time School Nurse position, and the approval of the 2025-2026 Service Agreement with the Knox County Educational Service Center. The consent agenda includes hiring personnel, amending the High School Student Handbook, adopting board policy DJF-R, and supplemental contracts. The treasurer's agenda includes monthly financial reports, appropriation modifications, and a grant from the Knox County Foundation.

The agenda included approval for hiring a KTC HVACR Instructor and a HS Substitute Teacher, along with an out-of-state trip for a certification class in Frisco, Texas. Donations of tool bags with hand tools to the On Track with HVAC reward program from multiple donors were also discussed. The board moved to an Executive Session to discuss the investigation of complaints against a public employee.
