The Mower County Solid Waste Management Plan outlines strategies for managing solid waste from 2023 to 2033. It aims to maximize solid waste abatement and reduce reliance on landfilling through various initiatives. Key areas of focus include waste reduction and reuse, public education, comprehensive recycling programs, and the proper management of yard waste, organic materials, waste tires, electronic products, major appliances, automotive fluids, and household hazardous waste. The plan targets reducing overall landfilling to 43 percent of waste generated by 2031.

The Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) is a five-year roadmap for the Mower County Community Health Board and its partners. Developed collaboratively based on community input and identified health priorities, the plan aims to strategically address these priorities and reduce barriers to health within Mower County, working towards a healthier and stronger future.

Various resolutions were passed, addressing general fund allocations, AMC delegates, incidental expenses, designation of the legal newspaper, depositories, and the appointment of a Health Officer.

Additionally, the board approved a Business Succession and Transition Program, a letter of support for the Hormel Nature Center, and a resolution for bridge replacements.
