The meeting included a treasurer's report, payment of bills, and a report from the county commissioner. The Gladwin Township Board adopted guidelines for poverty exemptions, specifying income and asset levels for eligibility. Claimants must own and occupy the property as their principal residence, file required forms and tax returns, meet asset tests, and adhere to federal poverty income guidelines. Applications must be submitted after January 1, 2025, and are reviewed by the Board of Review, with appeals possible to the State Tax Commission.
