Both the 1.0% and the 0.5% sales taxes were reauthorized at the May 10, 2016 Primary Election. The City anticipates receiving $475,000 in Motor Vehicle Tax and $2,661,056 in Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax. The proposed budget addresses department needs on an individual basis rather than using a uniform percentage increase across all items.
