The Council reviewed and approved expenditures across the General Fund, Major Street Fund, Local Street Fund, and Farmers' Market Fund. Presentations were made regarding community service club activities, a Juvenile Millage renewal, a 911 Millage renewal, county financial security and upcoming millage renewals, and a local roads millage proposal. Reports were provided by the Village President, Village Manager, and the Recreation Committee. Additionally, the Council passed resolutions concerning the Eaton County Parks Grant and a budget amendment for the Sewer Fund.

The Commission meeting focused on preparations for the upcoming Music in the Park event, including marketing strategies and updates to promotional materials. Additionally, the commission discussed potential future planning for an Art Prize event, including outreach efforts to local business owners.

The meeting included a public session regarding inquiries about local public performances. During the business session, the commission discussed progress on the upcoming Music in the Park event, including marketing strategies, and reviewed a donation received from the Dimondale Business Association. Additionally, the commission reviewed the 2026 Meeting Proceeding Resolution and brainstormed new fundraising ideas, including the design of a new template for promotional efforts.

The Council reviewed and approved payments for the General Fund, Major Street Fund, and Local Street Fund. Updates were provided regarding the postponement of the proposed Social District and various committee reports. Key business included the review of the Planning Commission Annual Report and the approval of construction bids from American Asphalt, Inc. for work on Hamilton and Ash Streets and the sewer plant driveway. Public comments covered concerns regarding a car show, road work, angle parking, property acquisition, sidewalk contractor behavior, sidewalk flooding, and the installation of additional electronic speed signs.

The board meeting addressed several operational and financial matters. The WWTP Operator provided a departmental report. The Interstate sewer line request was tabled until the next meeting. The board approved recommendations for budget amendments to the Dimondale Village Council and Windsor Township Board regarding the replacement of a fine screen in the headworks building and two RAS pumps. Additionally, the board adopted the Meetings Proceedings Resolution.
