Furthermore, the agenda included deliberations on increasing liability insurance coverage, strategies for legal advertising on the municipal website, and planning for the required financial contribution toward a regional traffic signal project.

The council approved the final plat for the Marion Oaks Subdivision Unit 1 and authorized the Guadalupe County Appraisal District's resolution for real estate acquisition and renovation. Proposals for EMS services from the City of Schertz were presented and subsequently tabled for further review. Discussions were also held regarding the City of Marion Personnel Manual, which was tabled, and the Facility Use Policy, for which the Mayor was authorized to make adjustments. The Mayor provided various updates on city operations, including police and staffing recruitment, flood disaster funding requests, and website revisions.

The meeting included public hearings for the Concept Plan and Final Plat of the Kayden Springs Subdivision, as well as the Green Valley Special Utility District Plat. Discussion items included Planning & Zoning Commission membership. Actions were taken on the Concept Plan and Final Plat for the Kayden Springs Subdivision, the Green Valley Special Utility District Plant 15, and a Preliminary Plat Extension for the Marion Oaks Subdivision Unit 1.
