The board addressed several financial and personnel matters, including the approval of the operating budget and preschool enrollment planning budget for the upcoming school year. Additional financial actions included the renewal of a food services contract, approval of school food price lists, and the selection of E-rate bid recipients for technology infrastructure. The board also approved payroll reports, bills lists, and budget transfers. In personnel actions, the board ratified a new collective bargaining agreement with the Education Association, approved a new teacher hire, and authorized the hiring of substitute teachers. Finally, an additional field trip site was approved for the school curriculum.

The board approved a variety of financial actions, including an audit engagement letter, revised operating and preschool enrollment budgets, a facilities agreement, payroll reports, and monthly financial certifications. Key discussions included the review and discussion of the Chief Academic Officer (CAO) report and the finalization of the CAO Evaluation for the 2024-2025 school year. In finance, the Board accepted the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) and Audit's Management Report for the year ending June 30, 2025. The personnel section addressed resignations, approved a non-instructional hire (Lunch Aide), approved FMLA leaves for two employees, and approved assignments and rate changes for maternity leave coverage, along with the approval of substitutes. Under curriculum, the Preschool Enrollment Projection for the 2026-2027 school year was approved. Governance actions included the approval of the School Calendar for the 2026-2027 school year and the first reading of several updated policies, as well as the abolishment of outdated sexual harassment policies.

Personnel actions included approving a resignation, hiring a School Nurse contingent on a background check, approving participation in a professional development trip to China for several employees, approving travel and registration for the National ESEA Conference in Denver, approving a consulting agreement for LDTC evaluations, and approving a consulting agreement for a part-time Special Education Coordinator role. The Board also approved the Annual Preschool Operational Plan Update for the 2026-2027 school year and the 2025 CSA Evaluation to be reviewed with the Chief Academic Officer.
