The council agreed to accept the distribution and disbursement of settlement funds according to the One Ohio Memorandum of Understanding, aiming to abate the opioid epidemic throughout Ohio. The resolution ensures the city's participation and agreement to the Secondary Manufacturers Settlements, deemed to be in the best interests of the public health and welfare of Franklin residents.
