The UC Davis School of Law's 2021-2022 Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Strategic Plan outlines four key goals: fostering an inclusive atmosphere and sense of belonging; supporting community mental health; promoting diverse staff and student recruitment; and enhancing socioeconomic support for students. Specific objectives include creating a committee to review the law school's visual representation, launching peer support groups, providing mental health resources and training, conducting staff and student diversity surveys, improving hiring practices, expanding recruitment efforts to diverse institutions, and increasing financial aid and support services for low-income students. The plan aims to create a more equitable and inclusive environment for all members of the law school community.
