The Organizational Meeting involved several procedural and appointment actions. Key activities included administering the Oath of Office to newly elected/re-elected councilpersons and the Highway Superintendent. The Board appointed the Town Clerk and Deputy Town Clerk, and passed a motion to conduct all future meetings under Roberts Rules of Order, except where superseded by Municipal Law. The schedule for future Town Board Meetings was set for the Second Thursday of the month, with auditing at 5:30 pm and the Regular Meeting opening at 6:00 PM. The Board delegated specific duties to various offices and committees, authorized the Supervisor to manage Town-owned lands, and established banking and investment policies. The mileage rate for Town Officials conducting Town Business was set at .725 cents per mile.

The Board meeting addressed several communications, including authorizing the Town Supervisor to sign a contractual agreement for necessary drug testing with Standard Medical Services and authorizing payment to the Adirondack Park Local Review Board for representation in related matters. The Board authorized two payments in lieu of taxes (pilot) agreements for Solar Energy Systems to be signed and approved a payment for weekly fuel tank inspection services for the Highway Department. Furthermore, the Town authorized entering into a shared services agreement with the Town of Minerva for the Code Officer position and approved a payment for technical support related to lead servicing and reporting, as required by New York State. Committee reports included updates on lead/copper questions, mandated wastewater agreements requiring future planning, assessor property entry progress, salt shed grant status for the Highway Department, smooth operation of Code Enforcement, the Youth Commission presentation, and the registration status of the Senior Citizens van. Financial actions included sending support funds to Adirondack Trail Riders for local trails and approving the payment of outstanding General, Highway, Water, and Sewer bills.

A public hearing will be held to discuss overriding the tax levy limit.
