The San Mateo County Pre-Hospital Emergency Medical Services Group was formed to work cooperatively and collaboratively to achieve the purposes outlined in the Joint Powers Agreement Establishing the Group. The Group entered into a contract directly with San Mateo County to be designated as a paramedic first responder provider effective July 1, 2019, and has the responsibility and need to provide its own administrative services, requiring an annual budget appropriation for such purpose. The Budget Plan for FY 2021-22 is approved and adopted, as required pursuant to Section V.H. and Section X.B. of the Joint Powers Agreement.
