The board discussed and approved the consolidation of Village Meadows Elementary School with Bobo Del Sol Elementary School. Additionally, the board approved the relocation of Town and Country Elementary School to the current Joyce Clark Middle School campus and renamed it to Town and Country Neighborhood School. Finally, the board approved a reconfiguration plan for elementary and middle school grade levels to transition schools to a K-8 model starting with the 2027-2028 school year.

The Governing Board held a special meeting to conduct an executive session for the purpose of consulting with legal counsel regarding the procedures for an administrator's resignation and the associated legal reasoning for a settlement agreement. Following the executive session, the board discussed and took action on the acceptance of a letter of resignation from a principal and the accompanying settlement agreement.

The meeting focuses on the policy review of several ASBA policy advisories, including budget format, audits and financial monitoring, purchasing, bidding and purchasing procedures, educational specifications for construction, staff conflict of interest, admission of exchange and foreign students, and student wellness.

The board meeting agenda includes the review and potential action on a personnel actions report, ratification of payroll and account payable vouchers, and ratification of a student activity fundraising list. The board will discuss and potentially approve vendor purchases exceeding $100,000 and the disposal of surplus property. Key business items include policy revisions, the resignation and waiver of policy for a professional staff member, the adoption of job descriptions for district positions, and the approval of an updated annual financial report. Additionally, the board will consider authorizing grant representatives, approving facility fee waivers for after-school programs, and accepting various donations.
