The board discussed planning and zoning application amendments and an ANR application for 13/9 Walker Rd. regarding site access options. Additionally, the board convened in an executive session to discuss strategy concerning litigation in the matter of Michael D. Dupont vs. ZBA.

The board performed the certification of signatures for nine sets of nomination papers, which included both party and non-party candidates for district, county, federal, and statewide offices.

The board discussed numerous reappointments for various town positions, committees, and commissions, including the Fire Chief, Police Lieutenant, and various inspectors and advisory members. Other business included the review of Executive Secretary office hours and a review of correspondence regarding various community notices, building maintenance requests, and newsletters. Standing committee reports and the good of the order were also listed for the meeting.

The meeting will focus on the commission's budget balance and the potential allocation of funds toward the Union Road Beach fence project. Other agenda topics include the payment of current invoices, a review of necessary maintenance projects, continued discussion on the large yellow buoys, ongoing deliberation regarding a disputed land area at Needham Park, and the potential partnership with the Norcross Wildlife Foundation on the Pocket Grant Program to improve Union Road Beach and the Monson Road property.

The board discussed zoning requirements for the Wales Irish Pub property regarding potential future use as a brewery with outdoor entertainment. Progress on planning and zoning application amendments was addressed, noting the need for further edits. Additionally, the board reviewed a proposed ANR for lots on Walker Road, specifically discussing frontage requirements and the feasibility of safe, convenient, and usable vehicle access to the property via Union Road, pending further surveys and reviews by the DPW Director.
