The Coweta Board of Education held a regular meeting to discuss various topics. The agenda included encumbrances, activity account transfers and sub-account approvals, and depositing interest from the General Fund and Warrant Account into the Building Fund Account. The board also considered an advertising agreement with Tulsa Bone & Joint, an agreement with JD Palatine LLC for background checks, the appointment of an Internal Activity Review Committee, district-approved digital platforms for communication, and a Teacher Empowerment Program. Additionally, agreements with Treat's Solutions for the Envirologix Virtual Database Program, US OMNI & TSACG Compliance Service, and Apptegy for Rooms and Thrillshare Alerts were discussed. The board also considered a resolution for the Superintendent to finalize a real estate transaction. Other topics included the Chief Financial Officer's Report, Assistant Superintendent's Report (accreditation, bullying prevention, emergency operations plan, and personal wireless devices policy revision), Superintendent's Report (construction update, OSSBA/CCOSA Conference), and personnel matters such as new hires, resignations, reassignments, and adjunct instructors.
