The special meeting addressed the temporary expansion of patio/outdoor seating areas in all St. Augusta restaurants and bars due to the COVID-19 public health emergency and Governor Tim Walz's Executive Order 20-53.

The council discussed the Sheriff's report, building inspector's report, and fire department report. They approved bids for the 2020 Street Project and seal coating project. A resolution was approved regarding a conflict of interest related to patching quotes. The council also discussed a traffic study in Eagle's Landing and potential amendments to the vehicle parking ordinance. Public hearings were scheduled for a drainage and utility easement vacation, review of an IUP, and site plan and variance requests.

The meeting addressed several key issues, including the Sheriff's report on contract hours and citations, the Building Inspector's report on permits, and updates on Public Works projects, such as the backhoe and new plow truck.
