The Stamford Public Schools (SPS) strategic plan aims to cultivate productive habits of mind, body, and heart in every student. It focuses on five key pillars: Academics (including Reading, Math, STEM, Humanities, and The Arts), Attendance, Healthy Lifestyle Choices, Social Emotional Learning, and Service Learning. The plan builds on past successes and seeks to innovate for the future, expanding its scope beyond academics to improve student learning holistically.

The committee meeting focused on the update and potential award of an RFP, updates regarding committee funding including grant application statuses for the WHHS pool inclusion and Lockwood Avenue, plans for public outreach, and the scheduling of site visits.

This document presents the Educational Facility Assessments, Demographic Study, and Master Planning for Stamford Public Schools. The plan aims to address facility needs, optimize capacity and utilization, and align educational facilities with Stamford's evolving demographics. A question and answer session addressed various community concerns regarding the impact of proposed changes to feeder patterns on students, mold remediation efforts, construction impacts, high school capacity, and potential private funding for stadium maintenance.
