The President provided an update report on key Loyalist College events and initiatives. Certificates were presented for the Board Excellence Program.

The meeting commenced with a call to order and confirmation of quorum, followed by the delivery of the Land Affirmation. The Consent Agenda, which included the approval of the current meeting's agenda and the minutes from the previous meeting held on September 11, 2025, was approved. The Academic Quality Report covered milestones from the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 academic years, including the redevelopment of the Program Quality Assurance Process. A recap of the Fall 2025 start-up noted higher-than-expected student engagement. The Board also reviewed and approved the 2024-25 Report on Sexual Assault and Sexualized Violence, and accepted the updated ADMIN 125 Responding to Sexual Assault and Sexual Violence Policy. The President's Report highlighted improvements in college reporting quality and enrolment growth.

The meeting addressed the approval of the consent agenda, revisions to Schedule B under Policy 8 regarding the Code of Conduct for Governors, and an academic update. The academic update included a proposal for the Community and Health Services Navigation -- Critical Care, Ontario College Graduate Certificate program. The President's Report highlighted key college events and initiatives.

Updates were given on Ministry of Colleges and Universities (MCU) directives and the President's report.

Loyalist College's Energy Conservation & Demand Management Plan for 2024-2028 focuses on optimizing energy use, reducing operational costs, and achieving environmental and sustainability milestones. It details initiatives undertaken to improve energy efficiency, aligning with provincial energy conservation objectives and Ontario Regulation 25/23. The plan emphasizes historical energy efficiency projects, the integration of UN Sustainable Development Goals, and future projects in collaboration with Blackstone Energy Management to mitigate risk and reduce carbon emissions.
