The Board conducted several discussions and made numerous decisions throughout the meeting. Key items included the approval of the October 2025 expense vouchers. The Board held multiple executive sessions to interview a reciprocity exam applicant, discuss Complaint 25-2, and deliberate on land surveying practices, minimum standards, and performance reviews. In regular session, resolutions were passed regarding settlement agreements for Ronald Hill, Nicholas Siedschlag, and Jason R. Latzke. A letter was approved to be sent to Eric M. Breuer regarding a Nance County survey revision. The Board also addressed National Geodetic Survey (NGS) Conversions during a presentation. Licensing actions included the approval of Dustin Craig Shropshire's Class 1 application and the registration of Michael Christopher Ray via reciprocity. The Board tabled the Class 1 application of Collin James Schroeder for one year and approved revisions to the NBELS office staff and rental space agreement for FY 25-26 and FY 26-27, including an increase in staff percentage. Finally, the Board reviewed upcoming changes to the Principles and Practice of Surveying (PS) and Fundamentals of Surveying (FS) exams by NCEES and set dates for 2026 meetings.
