The 2023-2028 Strategic Plan for The College of the Florida Keys aims to establish the institution as a leader in quality education and innovative learning, serving as a unifying force within the community. The plan is dedicated to serving the diverse intellectual, cultural, and occupational needs of its community through student-centric programs, workforce development, and sustainable practices. The strategic pillars include expanding and maintaining access to first-rate educational opportunities, promoting community and environmental accountability, fostering institutional and individual agility through resource maximization and innovation, and ensuring student and stakeholder achievement by meeting and exceeding benchmarks for retention, completion, and job placement.

The Parent Advisory Council meeting included a review and adoption of bylaws, nomination and voting for positions such as Chair, Vice-Chair, and Secretary, and discussion of PAC-sponsored event dates for the 2025-2026 school year. Events included a Welcome Kickball and Family Picnic, Start with Hello Spirit Week, Community Swim Night, a Creepy Campus Ghost Tour Fundraiser, Thanksgiving and Holiday Trivia Fundraisers, a Sweetheart or Not Dance, a Luau, and a Senior Sunrise Breakfast. There were also updates on the Student Council, discussion of the School Improvement Plan, community service opportunities, and a parent workshop.

The 2023-2028 Strategic Plan for The College of the Florida Keys (CFK) outlines the college's commitment to academic excellence, student success, faculty and staff engagement, individualism and diversity, civic and environmental responsibility, and community partnerships. The plan focuses on strategies to expand and maintain access to educational opportunities, promote community and environmental accountability, foster institutional and individual agility, and ensure student and stakeholder achievement. Key objectives include constructing additional residence halls, launching new degree and certificate programs, generating philanthropic support, enhancing technology in classrooms, implementing ecological awareness programs, seeking accreditation, and supporting life safety initiatives. The plan also aims to meet or exceed Florida College System benchmarks for retention, completion, job placement, and starting salaries, while aligning education with job competencies and expanding mental health support for students and employees.

The Parent Advisory Council meeting included adopting November's agenda and introductions, focusing on PAC with the adoption of bylaws and nominations/votes for Chair, Vice-chair, and Secretary positions. There was an update on the student council, including the Creepy Campus Ghost Tour fundraiser and upcoming Spirit Week and Friendsgiving events. The meeting also covered the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SAC) Accreditation/Cognia, upcoming events like the Valentine's Day Dance, potential fundraisers with Fury, a Disney raffle, a pool fundraiser, and details for the Prom.

The Parent Advisory Council meeting included updates from the student council, a review and approval of upcoming events and dates, including the February Dance, Senior Raffle fundraiser, NHS/NJHS Induction Ceremony, 3rd Quarter Academy Awards, Senior Sunrise Breakfast, NHS/NJHS Car Wash, Interact Fun Run, Purple for Military Children, and Speakeasy Fundraiser. The council also discussed a potential Fury Adventure for seniors and the Senior luncheon and awards, Prom, Senior dinner, Senior graduation practice, and Graduation. The possibility of purchasing a mascot for CFK Academy was discussed. Updates on student applications for the upcoming school year, scheduling and elective selection, testing dates, grade review, and a parent survey were also addressed.
