The City of Stanfield Comprehensive Plan, updated in July 2003, provides a long-range framework for future growth and development, guided by Oregon Statewide Planning Goals. The meeting continued discussions from a previous session concerning Chapter 2.2 Commercial of the Development Code, utilizing a further amended memorandum. Key discussion points included necessary amendments to the Municipal Code and limited discussion regarding changes to the Public Works Standards. A Joint Work Session is scheduled for the following week, with hearings planned for May.

The primary focus of the discussion was the second draft of the Comprehensive Plan, with specific attention given to historic resources. The planned agenda for the subsequent meeting includes a review of Development Code Chapters 2, 3, and 4.

Several supporting documents that provided input to this plan were identified, including the Natural Hazards Mitigation Plan, Park Master Plan, Housing Needs Analysis, Main Street Revitalization Plan, and the Transportation System Plan.
