The committee met to review the executive summary for the agenda and clarify expectations for primary resource scoring. A primary focus of the meeting was the review and refinement of the K-8 Math Primary Resource Rubric, where the committee evaluated 18 indicators to ensure they were appropriate for scoring purposes. The committee concluded the session by finalizing changes to the rubric and discussing the schedule for future evaluation meetings.

The committee convened to discuss the adoption of a primary social studies resource. Key activities included a review of the project's purpose and outcomes, an examination of the Arizona History & Social Science Standards to serve as a scoring guide, and a collaborative review and modification of the 17 indicators within the evaluation rubric draft to ensure clarity for upcoming resource scoring.
