Academic goals include curriculum review, alignment of course outcomes with student mastery, leveraging resources for innovation, IT support, and expanding student access to credit courses. Student success initiatives focus on recruitment, retention strategies, support for the first-year experience, and connecting students with college and community services. Budget and facilities goals include completing the Joyner Learning Center, implementing the Facilities Master Plan (including renovations and construction), addressing deferred maintenance, and improving budget accountability and campus safety.
