The commission reviewed a conditional use permit for Beautiful Fence Incorporated in the MG zoning area, establishing conditions regarding electrical compliance, prohibiting outdoor storage, and ensuring emergency access. A major portion of the meeting involved reviewing three combined agenda items for the Utah Education Association (UEA) new office building project. This required a partial vacation of the Arrowhead Lane condominium subdivision (vacating approximately half an acre of parking area), a single lot subdivision to formalize the withdrawn land, and approval of a conditional use permit for the new construction. The proposed building met most setback requirements but required a reduction in height from 32 feet to 30 feet, and detailed landscaping plans were required at the building permit stage.

The Murray City Municipal Council will conduct a public hearing to receive public comment concerning amending the City's fiscal year 2023-2024 budget. The proposed budget amendments are available for review at the Murray City Department of Finance and Administration.

The ordinance adopts the transfer of monies from enterprise funds to other city funds as outlined in the city's fiscal year 2023-2024 budget. It includes providing notice of the proposed transfers, holding an enterprise fund hearing, and providing enterprise fund accounting data to the public, as required by Utah Code. Notices will be mailed to users, posted on the city's website and social media, and submitted to the State Auditor.

The Murray City Municipal Council will conduct a public hearing to receive comments on a proposed resolution. The resolution concerns authorizing the City's Power Department to provide volunteers, services, and nonmonetary assistance to the Navajo Tribal Utility Authority. This aid is for a project focused on constructing electrical infrastructure for Navajo Nation homes lacking electricity.

The meeting included discussions and decisions on various topics. The council considered the confirmation of an appointment to the History Advisory Board. They also reviewed and were set to adopt the City Council meeting schedule for 2026.
