The school board meeting included an update on school improvements. The board approved the MSBA 2025D Policy update and the use of Quality Network Services for managed IT services. The acceptance of filings for candidacy for the April 7, 2026 election was discussed, with three-year terms on the Board of Education to be filled. Important future dates were noted, including the Veteran's Day Program, Thanksgiving Break, Christmas Program and Christmas Party.

The board discussed the installation of the playground border and the window in the kitchen. The board approved the 2025-2026 Student/Parent Handbook, Staff Handbook, and After School Program Handbook. Lunch prices were increased from $3.00 to $3.10, while breakfast cost remained at $1.50. Tuition was increased from $2,250.00 per family to $2,500.00 per family with a tiered increase for additional children, and the weekly After School Program cost was increased from $25.00 per week to $30.00 per week for the 2025-2026 school year. MSBA policy update 2025A was approved, and Keithly Photography was selected as the school's photographer for the 2025-2026 school year.

The board meeting included updates from a speech pathologist and a fourth-grade teacher. The board approved the installation of a new phone system and MSBA Policy 2025C. They also adopted DESE's Local Compliance Plan and approved a visit for the first and second-grade classes to The Thompson House in Trenton. The superintendent reported on the discontinuation of TextCaster as a communication method and provided an update on Missouri legislation regarding school funding.

The board meeting included discussions and approvals related to a bid for a new kitchen window, the 2025-2026 master schedule, a fund transfer, the 2024-2025 budget amendment, and the 2025-2026 school budget. The board also set the annual tax rate hearing, approved an agreement with Laredo R-VII, reviewed bids for milk and diesel, approved MSBA Policy Updates 2025B, and approved the AMI Plan for the 2025-2026 school year. The superintendent provided an update on the ECSE summer school and future dates of importance.

The Pleasant View R-VI School Board held a tax rate hearing to discuss new business, which included a motion to lower the tax rate.
