Northland Community and Technical College's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Plan (2023-2027) aims to close educational disparities by implementing a comprehensive action plan aligned with the Equity 2030 mission. The plan focuses on three key action items: 1) Cultivating a caring campus climate to address equity gaps through data-driven interventions, professional development, and the implementation of an equity rubric; 2) Cultivating pathways for student achievement by reviewing and creating diverse career-aligned programs, establishing community partnerships, reviewing curricula for inclusivity, and developing a holistic student support framework; and 3) Creating an equity resource repository and network by identifying equity leads, developing a toolbox of resources, and promoting faculty and staff professional development. The plan's success will be measured by increased retention of marginalized students, narrowed equity gaps, culturally relevant policies and procedures, a guided learning pathway framework, an inclusive culture, expanded community partnerships, and dedicated resources for student support. This plan is in alignment with the college's Strategic Plan 2022-2027.
