The Council discussed and passed several resolutions, including authorization for archaeological surveys, park change orders, equipment donations to the fire department, A/V equipment upgrades, and various service and supply bids. Additionally, the Council made several reappointments and appointments to the Municipal Utilities Board, Library Board, and the Downtown Redevelopment Authority, and addressed public inquiries regarding the Police Citizen Advisory Board.

The Planning Commission reviewed several development and zoning requests. The agenda included approvals for a preliminary plat for Heritage Creek Phase 2, the rezoning of property for Wesley Methodist Church to an institutional classification, and minor plat requests for Fairground subdivision and Jasmine Trace Apartments.
