Board meetings and strategic plans from Bob Evans's organization
The Mannford Public Works Authority Board of Trustees convened for a regular meeting, during which they addressed various items on the consent agenda. These included the approval of declaring miscellaneous metals, a bucket truck, a GMC dump truck, augers, non-working water pumps, electric panels and meter boxes, weed eaters, chainsaws, blowers, mowers, and used power poles as surplus items, and their subsequent disposal through Yaffee Metals or a city surplus auction. There were no items removed from the consent agenda for separate consideration.
The board approved the bank account balance and the Mannford Youth Sports Report. The board also authorized the opening of a separate bank account for fundraising expenses and the creation of a fundraising subcommittee. Additionally, the members approved the plans, specifications, and a $50,000 funding requirement for the construction of a new pavilion at Green Valley Park.
The Planning Commission reviewed and approved several building permits for residential construction, driveway installation, and workshop additions at various locations, with some approvals contingent upon deed ownership or specific structural requirements. Furthermore, the commission established a future public hearing date regarding subdivision plans for the Lake Estates of Mannford and noted that no action was taken regarding the comprehensive plan for the development of the City of Mannford.
The primary scheduled business before the Board of Trustees involved the consideration and possible approval of Matt Ingham, or another qualified candidate, to serve as the interim Mannford Municipal Court Judge, pursuant to Section 6-104 of the Mannford Code of Ordinances. The Board subsequently moved to approve Matt Ingham for the position.
The meeting included a report from the Town Administrator on sales and use tax revenues. The board approved a consent agenda that included minutes from previous meetings of the Town of Mannford Board of Trustees, the Mannford Planning Commission, and the Mannford Library Board, as well as the 2026 Meeting Schedule for the Mannford Public Library. The board also approved removing and adding individuals to the signature cards for the City of Mannford's bank accounts, and authorized online access to American Heritage Bank accounts for RSMeacham CPAs & Advisors. Additionally, the board approved ordinances related to street design criteria and amendments to the Code of Ordinances. Finally, the board approved a contract with the Mannford Chamber of Commerce, authorizing the Chamber to use the Mannford Activity Center location as their physical address.
