The Terrell County Board of Commissioners convened to discuss several key issues. The Terrell County Board of Commissioners convened a special meeting to interview candidates for the positions of Warden and Assistant Road Supervisor. Following interviews conducted in an executive session, the board made an offer to Jason Webb for the Assistant Road Supervisor position. Additionally, Richard Kilby was hired as Warden.

The Terrell County Board of Commissioners held a public hearing to obtain residents' views on the City's request to submit a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) application for sewer system improvements. The discussion covered the CDBG program's local match and eligibility requirements, eligible grant amounts, and rating factors. Also discussed were door-to-door survey documentation for determining low-to-moderate income counts, the selection of Still Waters Engineering as the engineering firm, and Language Access Plan requirements. The grant application submission date is June 4, 2021.
