The council also approved closing city hall and public works early for an employee appreciation BBQ.

The council discussed and considered an application for a BASE Grant to purchase a building on Holly Street. The building has a non-compete clause attached to the deed. The council voted to apply for the grant and contract Erica Kern as a sub-contractor to write the BASE grant.
