It was announced that residents will be notified about the ordinance regarding snow and ice removal responsibility. In solicitor matters, the Council authorized research into Commonwealth case law concerning street cut permits and utility pole fees, and discussed potentially terminating the zoning contract with Barry Isett to explore shared services with Hellam Township. The Engineer's report noted that design work for a new light pole foundation on East Beaver Street is nearing completion. Finally, the February 26, 2026 meeting was cancelled.

The organizational meeting included the administration of the Oath of Office to newly and re-elected Council Members and the Tax Collector. A motion to cancel the January 22, 2026 meeting was not seconded, and the President indicated a desire to meet on that date for general topics with an Executive Session.
