This document outlines the Town of Wright's strategic direction, focusing on enhancing the quality of life, providing resident services, and fostering a healthy economy while preserving its heritage. The vision is to maintain a safe, family-oriented community with a strong energy-based economy and quality education system. The 2025 Economic Development Plan, supported by a Wyoming Business Council grant, is designed to guide the growth and development of the community by providing economic development strategies.

The Town Council meeting included discussions and decisions on various topics. The council approved the consent agenda, which included the approval of regular meeting minutes from February 24, 2025, the current meeting's agenda, and vouchers totaling $84,731.98. The council also discussed a request from the 4-H 21 Divide to adopt a flower bed, received an update on the 2025 Legislative Session, and heard reports on the Highway Sign Project, TAP Grant Design Project, Panther Pond bike path project, Maintenance, and Ag Complex. Additionally, the council approved the 4-H 21 Divide's request to adopt the flower bed and waived fees for the Wyoming Rodeo Association. The next meeting was announced for March 24, 2025, along with a workshop on allowing chickens in the town limits.

The Town Council meeting addressed various topics, including expressing gratitude to summer employees for their work on Wright Days and the 50th Anniversary Celebration. Reports were presented on the Hay Creek Golf Club, the Community Center Parking lot, TAP grant, ADA bike paths, and the WPAC. The council approved the resignation from the Lodging Tax Board, waiving green and cart fees for the Silver-Sage Senior Silly Scramble Golf Tournament, and applying for an SS4A grant for $450,000 with a town match of $90,000.

The special meeting included a review of budget items for the Fiscal Year 2025/2026, covering revenue projections, capital improvements, and an overall budget review. Budget funding requests were presented by WPAC and the Silver Sage Senior Center. The council moved into an executive session concerning personnel matters. A future special meeting was scheduled to discuss employee pay scales.

The council held a public hearing and regular meeting. The public hearing concerned the Annual Appropriations for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2025, and ending June 30, 2026. During the regular meeting, the council discussed a request to waive green fees for a fundraiser, reviewed the town ordinance concerning fowl/chickens, and heard an engineering report on the Community Center Parking lot. They approved the waiver of green fees for the fundraiser, adopted the Town of Wright Ordinance No. 2025-01 for annual appropriations, and approved a catering permit for The Rusty Nail for Wright Days events.
